Evelyn Donna | Newborn & Family

The Morris family has a new member! She’s so beautiful and I always love photographing part of our family. It feels like yesterday I was just photographing Thomas’ newborn session, but that was over three years ago! Evie was a little fussy throughout the session, but overall she did wonderful and I love how the photos turned out! Thomas did great as well and I can tell that he loves his little sister already.

Unlike Thomas, who was fast asleep during his entire newborn session, Evie refused to fall asleep. I managed to capture a few pictures with eyes closed, but for the most part her eyes were wide open. That definitely did not take anything away though, and I love all of the cute expressions she made! 🙂

Evie’s nursery was decorated beautifully and I couldn’t wait to start photographing it! There’s just something that goes off in my head when I see gorgeous light and the perfect backdrop for a photograph. It’s a mixture between excitement, giddiness and impatience because I can’t wait to edit these photographs before they’re even on my camera!
