Wil & Bethany | Bradley’s Retreat & Pond Wedding

               4:30am came early as Hunter and I woke up to get ready for Wil & Bethany’s wedding. There was a lot to be photographed before their 10:30 ceremony, but there was no doubt that it would be a beautiful day! We arrived at the wedding location at 6:30 and preparations for the ceremony and reception were already well under way. We started photographing as soon as the sun came up, and by that time it was very chilly even with my 4 layers. The morning flew by and the later in the day it got, the warmer it became. So, by the time the ceremony started, it was just about perfect outside.

               This was a very special wedding to photograph because I’ve known just about every person involved for many years, and knowing Wil & Bethany for so long as well made it even more special! It was honestly like photographing a family wedding! There were so many special parts of the day, one of them being that Wil’s grandfather and father both took part in officiating the wedding. I also loved how everything was decorated inside and outside. It was all simple, elegant and fit the venue perfectly. There were so many personal touches to their day and I loved finding those throughout the day as I was photographing. One of the my favorite parts of the day were the speeches given at the reception by some of Wil & Bethany’s close friends and family. I think each of them either had us laughing or trying to hold back tears at some point.

               There’s no doubt that Wil & Bethany are perfect for each other. You can see that through simply watching them together or just listening to the way that their family and friends talk about them. Wil & Bethany, I wish you both nothing but the best and I can’t wait to see where life will take you.
