It’s so hard to believe that I’m actually posting these photos of my own daughter’s nursery. I’ve dreamed of what my son or daughter’s nursery would look like for a long time, not really knowing when it would become a reality. Last May, when we found out that we were pregnant, life suddenly started to take on another meaning. It wasn’t going to be just Hunter and I for much longer. We were starting our family.
Now that I am less than 3 weeks away from my January 27th due date, I know that our life is about to change in a major way and I couldn’t be more excited. While it feels like I’ve been pregnant forever at this point, this pregnancy has also flown by and knowing that I could be holding Caroline in my arms any day now seems so surreal and makes me so thankful. I have had such a wonderful, smooth pregnancy and I know that is such a huge blessing.
One of the last things on my to-do list before she arrives was to finish up her nursery and photograph her beautiful room. I LOVE LOVE LOVE the way it turned out! I knew I wanted a room that was bright, mostly neutral and a little girly of course. I love the pops of seafoam and peach colors along with the subtle elephant theme throughout. And all of the wall décor was Hunter’s Christmas gifts to me. He knows what I like and what my style is, and everything he picked out was absolutely perfect for this room. He also chose such sweet sayings and verses that we want to instill in Caroline from an early age. He loves her so much already and I can’t wait to see him as a Dad. I think we make a pretty good design team 🙂
I can’t wait to bring her home to this room and for all of the special moments we will experience here.
