Elegant Wedding at First Baptist Church of Chattahoochee, FL

Robert and Shelby’s spring wedding was northing short of a perfect day. This wedding was one of a few that I was able to fly back down to Florida for! Unfortunately Hunter was not able to come with me this time, so my Dad helped me for this wedding and it was great having him there! I knew this wedding would be such a fun day, because of getting to know Robert and Shelby at their engagement session, and learning what a sweet and joyful couple they are.

We first arrived at Shelby’s grandmother’s home where she was getting ready and I couldn’t have been more excited when I saw how cute and photogenic this house was! Shelby first mentioned that she would love photos in and around this house because she grew up around this house and it means so much to her. I definitely had no problem capturing plenty of images!

And even better…everyone was either right on time or very early, so I was able to capture twice as many photos because of that, which made for such a stress free day for Robert and Shelby and for myself as well!! This made me even more excited that I could spend more time with their Bride & Groom portraits before the ceremony, because I could’ve photographed in front of her grandmother’s for hours!

This wedding was 8 years in the making and it was special to see Robert and Shelby so excited for this day that they have been waiting for this long. Shelby’s main goal for her wedding was just to enjoy it and take it all in, and she did exactly that. Wedding days go by so fast and I am thankful that they chose me to capture their once in a lifetime day. I hope you enjoy your photos!!
